

FEES & POLICY

Referral
A referral letter from a General Practitioner or a specialist is not required. However, to access Medicare rebate, you will need a referral (Mental Health Care Plan) from your GP or a specialist. Without a Mental Health Care Plan, a full-fee is chargeable to your session.
Fees
$210 for a standard 50-minute consultation. An additional $10 after-hours fee applies to appointments scheduled after 5pm and on Saturdays.
Rebates
Medicare
A referral letter and a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) is required to claim a Medicare rebate for a session. A MHTP can be obtained from your General Practitioner (GP), paediatrician or psychiatrist. A MHCP is required prior to your first appointment in order to receive a Medicare rebate. With a current MHTP, you are eligible for a Medicare rebate of $96.65 per session.The maximum sessions that you can claim for Medicare is 10 sessions a year. Our practice is a non-bulk billing clinic.
Private Insurance
If you have private insurance, check with your provider if you are eligible for a rebate.
Health Care Card
If you have a Health Care (Concession) card, you may be entitled to a concession rate. Please contact us for more information.
Assessment Fees
Assessment fees vary depending on the presenting needs and assessment tools used. Assessment are not rebatable through Medicare. Please get in touch with us for a quote of your assessment needs and further information.
Cancellation Policy
Appointment non-attendance or cancellation within 48-hours of the scheduled session is subjected to a 50% of the total amount of the session. Appointment cancellation or non-attendance are not covered by Medicare, private health or health care fund.
